Cookie policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; similar technologies include the browser’s local and session storage. This policy lists every cookie and storage item DesignerEase uses, what it is for and how long it lasts.
Strictly necessary items are always on, because the site cannot work without them. Everything else is used only with your consent, which you give or refuse on the banner and can change at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “reject all”. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. Strictly necessary
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token (may be split into .0, .1) | Keeps you signed in and protects your session | Until you sign out, renewed while you use the service | DesignerEase (authentication by Supabase) |
| de_consent | Remembers your cookie choice and its version | 6 months | DesignerEase |
| pp_… | Secure session on a partner dashboard after the e-mail code is confirmed (httpOnly) | 12 hours | DesignerEase |
| Stripe cookies (on checkout.stripe.com) | Fraud prevention and the payment page, when you pay by card | Set by Stripe on its own site — see Stripe’s cookie policy | Stripe |
| Workspace settings in local storage (guided tours, remembered tabs and views) | Features you use inside the application | Until you clear them | DesignerEase |
2. Preferences (with your consent)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| de-pricing-type (local storage) | Remembers the business type you chose on the pricing page | Until you clear it or withdraw consent | DesignerEase |
3. Analytics (with your consent)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| _sid (session storage) | A random visit id that links the pages of one visit, sent with page views, the referring page, campaign tags, browser and approximate location from the IP address — to our own servers only | Until the browser tab is closed | DesignerEase (first party) |
| _vid (local storage) | A random returning-visitor id so we can tell repeat visits apart, sent with page views and with the labels of buttons and links you click (never what you type) — to our own servers only. If you send the contact form, the name, email and phone you give are linked to your visit so our team knows who wrote | Until you clear it | DesignerEase |
| de-visitor (local storage, on online stores run on DesignerEase) | A random shopper id so the store can count product views and suggest products | Until you clear it | DesignerEase, on behalf of the store |
Signed-in members who have not made a choice are measured as part of running the service (legitimate interests); turning analytics off under “Cookie settings” stops it. Page measurement never runs on speak-up and worker help pages.
4. Changing your choice
Choose “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to see your current choice and change it. Refusing preferences removes the preference items we stored. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; you will then be asked again.
We record each choice — a random consent id, the categories, the version, the page and the time, with your IP address only as a one-way hash — so we can show what was agreed. We ask again when this policy changes in a way that needs new consent, and at the latest after 6 months.
